Brooke received a McKnight Artist Fellowship Grant in 2018, won the International Acoustic Music Award for Best Female Artist in 2019, and was awarded an Independent Music Award for her EP, “Imposter.”  

Brooke is currently writing songs for her own next album, as well as gearing up for live concert dates.

Starting in the early '90s as part of the duo the Story and later flourishing as a solo artist, Jonatha has released an impressive collection of music. She's not only a gifted artist but has co-written and produced songs with the likes of Katy Perry, The Courtyard Hounds, and Jessica Simpson.

Beyond her solo career, Jonatha is a powerhouse in songwriting and recording, offering Master Classes both online and in person. Her extensive resume includes writing for Disney films, TV shows, and composing the theme song for Joss Whedon's,“Dollhouse,” to name a few.

In 2014, she wrote, produced, and starred in her own one-woman show,MyMother Has 4 Noses,”which ran off-Broadway to rave reviews and was critics’pick in all the New York and Theater press, includingNY TimesandTime Out.

She was also the recipient of a McKnight Artist Fellowship Grant in 2018, won the2019 International Acoustic Music Award for Best Female Artist for “Put the GunDown,” and was the competition’s overall grand prize winner. In 2020, she wasawarded an Independent Music Award (IMA) for her EP,Imposter.

Brooke is currently writing songs for her own nextalbum, as well as gearing up forlive concert dates with her band.
