With a career spanning over 30 years Mark Cherrie has worked as a keyboard player for many varied artists  Jimmy Ruffin, Edwin Starr, The Drifters and Paul Young. In addition Mark began a career composing music for TV and film in 1993 with over 500 published pieces featured on programmes such as E.R., The Fresh Prince, Buffy, Friends. Mark's also found the time to follow in his father pianist and steel pan player Ralph Cherrie's footsteps  and has played the steel pan professionally for 40 years  becoming one of the country's leading steel pan players. Mark's determination to prove that the steel pan is no mere 'novelty' and can be a credible jazz instrument inspired his recording of 'Joining The Dots' recently released to great acclaim. Joined onstage with John Donaldson piano; Mick Hutton, double bass and Eric Ford on drums - all of whom are featured musicians on the album this performance is guaranteed to blow away the winter blues.
