The Berlin-based Dublin native, known for her versatile style spanning soul, funk, jazz, rhythm & blues and opera, returns to the Pheasantry to perform tracks from her album 'January Skies', which include Jazz FM's 'Breakfast Track of the Week' 'My Mama Told Me' in addition to new material. She will also present classics that have influenced her writing. Drawing inspiration from the 60s/70s to 90s trip-hop, the album explores themes of patriarchy, rites of passage, lost faith and fantasy versus reality. A seasoned opera performer, she has sung at the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden and Deutsche Oper Berlin.
