After a sold out show in 2023, Songbird Sessions are back to present a heartfelt offering of Pop, Soul and Gospel classics, to lighten your mood and lift your heart. Expect to hear their unique arrangements of songs by Alicia Keys, Jill Scott, Emeli Sande and more plus a little bit of playful audience participation too.
At the heart of Songbird Sessions ethos is connection through the medium of song and the voice as an instrument. Founders Gemma Knight Jones and Kelly Fraser have long histories of professional work with impressive CV's to show for it. You might have seen Gemma on one of London's West End stages or gigging around the country with the mighty House Gospel Choir.
Kelly has an MA in Music Therapy alongside an illustrious career as a contemporary vocal coach in higher education and on TV shows including X Factor and Britains Got Talent. Alongside their stellar Songbird family, this show has been curated with connection and heart in mind. The songs they will perform share deep messages of love, togetherness and faith in a higher power than self.
