Bristol's absolute funkiest make their debut appearance at the Soho pizza express jazz cafe. Bringing a mix of original material and 70s funk classics from iconic artists such as James Brown, Chocolate Milk and Bobby Byrd to name a few, expect authentic high energy funk mixed with virtuoso improvisation. Hustle have been shaking dance floors loose since their conception in summer 2022. They are  now they are bringing the funk to Soho's PizzaExpress Jazz Club. 

The Hustle are a 7 piece funk & soul band from Bristol. Within the first few months of their formation  Hustle have  gained a solid reputation as Bristols absolute funkiest.

Their heavy grooves, tight rhythms, raw vocals and virtuoso improvisational skills are already shaking dance floors loose across Bristol and beyond.

Formed in the spring of 2022 The Hustle are made up of heavyweight musicians from the Bristol music scene, featuring members of The LBJBs, Run Logan Run, The Embassy, Soma Soma, Dr Meeker and The Worldwide Experiment. In just a few short months they’ve not only gigged on some of the UK's finest  stages including; Hooternanny's and High Rise, but they also now host a regular residency  at Bristols legendary Canteen.

This hybrid of  funk mavericks are  renowned for creating a serious buzz with their supercharged improv chops as they are for collaborating on inspired original material, delivering a fresh new spin on the genre we all know and love and compelled to break out the ‘F-U-N’ in ‘FUNK’!

2023 is set to be an ambitious year for The  Hustle. With the release of 3 EPs planned and bookings at many UK festivals. The future looks a lot more funky with The Hustle on the horizon.
