Fresh from an extended time playing in New York, Harry will lead his own talented trio who are not an “eclectic mix of trip-hop, neo-soul, experimental, multi-cultural, abstract, psyambient, underworld electronic fusion”, but three modern jazz musicians at the top of their field delivering a new approach on jazz classics, standards and modern contemporary arrangements that also provide a showcase for Harry’s exciting, standout compositions. Classically trained, Harry studied for 4 years at Trinity Laban Junior then, turning to Jazz aged 18, he distinguished himself at Senior Trinity Laban Conservatoire, Greenwich – twice receiving their Hamburg Improvisation award and gaining a distinction in the high TCL Diploma.

Harry was mentored by the late, great John Taylor for four years, while at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire, where he gained his BMus (Hons) Jazz piano. During his third year, Harry became the youngest jazz pianist ever to lead his own trio aboard the Queen Mary 2, touring the world, twice.  Upon his return he was selected to join the prestigious Clark Tracey Quintet, playing the jazz circuit and festivals for three years.  During this time they completed two albums, which gained 5 stars in Jazz Wise Reviews.  In addition Harry’s Debut Album ‘Piece By Piece” has been well received across the world.

During Harry’s recent Debut onto the New York Jazz scene, in which he played at some of the most prestigious venues the city has to offer, he was fortunate enough to be accepted to study under a NYC jazz piano legend. The great Kenny Werner (author of one of the most influential books in recent generations “Effortless Mastery” for the modern musician). He Embraced Harry under his wing for indispensable one-on-one sessions in “Effortless Mastery / Jazz Piano”.

Harry plays from the heart with versatility, passion, energy with subtle, soulful flair. He transitions seamlessly from Classic Bop to Modern, ingeniously combining the traditional with the contemporary.
