Rebecca Caine (Les Miserables, Phantom of the Opera), Sophia Ragavelas (Les Miserables, Mamma Mia, The Lion King), Martin Neely (Les Miserables, Mary Poppins) and Craig Rhys Barlow (Children of Eden, Tommy) together with pianist Mark Etherington and double bassist Nick Pugh, star in this scintillatingly entertaining evening of songs by the extraordinarily talented New York based composer and lyricist, Charles Bloom.
Bloom’s songs have been performed by such luminaries as Patti LuPone, Mandy Patinkin and Michael Feinstein and have drawn praise from Stephen Sondheim (“his cleverness never fails to amaze me”), Jerry Herman (“the first composer-lyricist I’ve heard in 25 years whose work speaks to me”) and Stephen Schwartz (“clever and well-crafted – this is fine work”).
