PizzaExpress Live in partnership with the Hampstead Jazz Club proudly present the album launch of 'Road To Anywhere'. Singer songwriter Graham McGregor-Smith was born in rural Worcestershire and raised on an eclectic mix of jazz, pop and opera before diving headfirst into the world of New Order and The Hacienda whilst studying at university in Manchester. After a successful business career, he realised that the itch to make music had never really left him and he started to write the songs that eventually went on to make up his superb debut album, Road To Anywhere, which will be launched at PizzaExpress Live.

Collaborating with producer, Julian Hinton (who has worked with everyone from Seal to Rod Stewart) and a supporting cast of world class musicians, McGregor-Smith has crafted a timeless, life-affirming album that blends classic pop and swinging jazz, seamlessly blurring the lines between Gilbert O’Sullivan, Jimmy Webb and João Gilberto.

Accompanied by some of the UK’s finest jazz musicians, Graham McGregor-Smith will be performing tracks from Road To Anywhere alongside a handful of the songs that have influenced him throughout his life.
