Funked up carols, yuletide ballads and joyful jazz; IMC return to PizzaExpress Holborn after their sell-out show in May to bring you Christmassy classics with a great big dollop of soul. Get into the festive spirit and ready to party to great gospel, R&B, jazz, funk and motown tunes from Stevie Wonder, James Brown, Whitney Houston and Mariah Carey, to name a few. The top talents of this eclectic 8-piece collective perform dazzling original multiphonic arrangements with deep bass lines, funky rhythms and stunning soulful lead vocals.

The Independent Musicians Collective are a talented 8-piece vocal collective established in 2017. They perform stunning original arrangements of music from every genre you can imagine– from jazz, soul, blues and gospel, through motown, disco, funk, house and garage to the very latest pop anthems. Their members have performed on ITV’s Britain’s Got Talent, at the opening of the Rugby World Cup, live on Jazz FM and at top venues across London including the Southbank Centre, the Camden Jazz Café and XOYO club in Shoreditch. They have also appeared extensively on BBC TV and radio. 2019 included performances at PizzaExpress Holborn, the Troubadour Club in Earls Court, the Hampstead Jazz Club and Pride in London events.
