“Crowd-pleasing vocal gymnastics, with an impressive dynamic range and a killing falsetto"

The Arts Desk

"A talented vocalist with an amazing gift." Sharon Osbourne

"The best live vocalist I’ve heard in a long time" Jamie Cullum

With over 15 years in the music industry under her belt, Annabel Williams has provided skilful backing vocals to some of the biggest names in music. Yet it was her performance at the 2013 London Jazz Festival’s Jazz Voice, at a sold-out Barbican, that saw her explode into the public consciousness as a solo artist. Her roaring renditions of Etta James’ ‘I Would Rather Go Blind’ & Chaka Khan’s ‘You’ve Got the Love’, received standing ovations and rave reviews.

Throughout her extensive career, Williams has provided backing vocals to major artists, from Al Jarreau to CeeLo Green; Nicole Scherzinger to Dame Cleo Laine and Rumer to Michael Bolton. Her rich experience and vocal stamina has caused her to become one of the most in demand vocal coaches in the country. Her celebrity artist clients have included Katy Perry, Amy Winehouse, Ellie Goulding, Stooshe and Alison Moyet.

In 2012 she became the official vocal coach for the X Factor, continuing then as official vocal coach for Britain’s Got Talent from 2013. As a solo artist, Williams can frequently be seen performing at London’s most celebrated venues, from the Hideaway to the 606 Club. She appears regularly at Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club, as a feature guest vocalist on the sell-out shows of both the Ronnie Scott’s Blues Explosion and Natalie Williams’ hugely popular Soul Family Sundays; receiving standing ovations for her deeply moving, gutsy performances.
