A fresh face on the London Jazz scene, home-grown Londoner Chris Read, brings a powerful performance of original music - a unique blend of jazz, soul and funk - lead with a raw, soulful voice. Having recently returned from playing a showcase at Jazz at Lincoln Centre in New York, Chris has also recently played at the Montreux Jazz Festival, Cheltenham Jazz Festival and at countless venues around the country. Accompanied by a seasoned band of musicians from London's music scene, this will be an energetic and uplifting night of music, ranging from raucous improvised jazz and funk to delicate, beautiful ballads.
