Earl Okin has long been one of the UK's top Jazz singers and songwriters. At 75, his voice hasn't changed and he's still turning out top quality songs. However, this show will concentrate on his love of great past songwriters of the Great American and Brazilian Songbooks. Needless to say, apart from his piano and guitar, you'll hear some of his renowned 'vocal trumpet' solos and be entertained by Earl's unique brand of humour. Earl will be joined by Rory Bremner, UK’s leading comedy and satirical impressionist.

Rory Bremner

Britain’s best-known satirical impressionist is back! With Trump, Boris and Brexit fresh in the memory, Rory’s on a mission to make sense (and nonsense) of it all.

Earl Okin has done it all.

His first single was recorded at the legendary Abbey Road studio back in 1967. He was the only opening act ever on tour with Paul McCartney & Wings. That was 1979.

Since the 1980s, he has been one of the top headliners on the unforgiving London comedy circuit. (He even enjoyed success at the Amsterdam Comedy Festival).

However, during the same period, he has also become one of the UK's finest Jazz and Bossa Nova singers, performing at all the top venues from Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club to the Royal Albert Hall and even the North Sea Jazz Festival in Holland.

Last but not least, he's one of the most sophisticated songwriters in the UK.

Put all of these talents together...and that's what to expect at an Earl Okin concert. In short - he's unique.

With him this time is one of his oldest friends....the UK's premier impressionist, Rory Bremner.
