Stylish soprano Emily Haig delights her concert audiences with her expressive musical story telling but is probably best known for her record-breaking 21 Wembley Stadium anthem appearances, for which the BBC labelled her a “Wembley Institution”, and her support of many of the nation’s other top-flight events in rugby union, rugby league, ice hockey, international women’s netball and Formula One, which was live broadcast to 400 million people worldwide.
Emily has just completed a UK tour as guest soloist with international tenor Russell Watson and also performed during autumn 2018 with the highly acclaimed Thursford Christmas Spectacular.
2019 has so far been a mix of large-scale sporting appearances and concerts, and looking ahead Emily is performing two proms concerts at the National Arboretum Summer Proms in August and in September with NMVC and the renowned GUS Band followed by cruise guest entertainment.
With Emily’s wide classical, crossover and musical theatre repertoire this is an evening of surprises and comparisons and with musical director David Harvey providing his expertise as the essential other half of the duo, a great night is guaranteed.
