Eleven songs recorded in four days, live in the sitting room of a Neapolitan village home. Nourished by the warmth, peace and pace of village life, 'CARPE AFTERNOON' is soaked in southern Italian sunshine, wine and melodies, with flavours of Tom Waits, Dr John, Randy Newman and the Buena Vista Social Club, telling tales of shipwreck, weight loss and heartache.

Matteo and Joe have been writing, producing and performing together for over 20 years. Most recently, their super catchy 'Make Love' was play-listed for 5 weeks on BBC Radio 2 (Graham Norton/Terry Wogan) with Chris Evans comparing it to the likes of Paolo Nutini and Amy Winehouse.
