Melinda has won “Best Of Sundance” at the Sundance Film Festival two years consecutively and was recently cast as the lead in a short film also lending her song "Maybe" as the recurring theme melody for the film, "My Mother The Monster", her 3rd placement just for this particular song.
Always with a vision, Melinda has brought her sonic sounds to the forefront of indie capabilities with her ground breaking upcoming unreleased video shot in ice glaciers, "I Wanna Be Ok”, “Ghost”, and more.
Melinda was born and raised in Northern California, but her dream was to live in London and pursue music in such a vibrant and musical city. She has three international tours under her belt, including more than 200 performances in the UK and several shows around Europe and Japan. Also the main subject in a documentary released in Europe, cameras followed her around for a year, filming her walking six dogs at a time to pay the bills whilst writing melodies for her album, then running off to the studio or a gig or some Hollywood meeting.
