The Pheasantry (Chelsea)

Paul Ryan and Kenny Clayton perform their album 'Blame It On My Youth', recorded live at the Pheasantry,  featuring such Great American Songbook classics as 'Someone to Watch over Me', 'Come Rain or Come Shine' and, of course, 'Blame it On My Youth'.  Alongside songs from the album, expect many more selections from the duo’s vast repertoire all delivered with a jazz inflection and their trademark brand of irreverent humour.  Paul was a favourite vocalist of the late jazz critic Jack Massarik while Kenny’s long career has seen him as musical director for such major stars as Petula Clark, Matt Monro, Charles Aznavour and Dick Haymes.

“Effortlessly stylish interpretations of the Great American Songbook…Ryan’s witty delivery is complemented by the quietly authentic genius of Clayton’s playing.”
