Lyricist and actor Rory Sherman makes his London debut Cabaret performance after five years off stage. In Pink Rory explores identity, purpose, life growing up in The North West & New Zealand and the ups and downs of charity work. An update on his NZ fringe show with songs by his friends and idols in Musical Theatre. Joining Rory from his first album 'Ms. A Song Cycle' is Lauren Samuels 'Romantics Anonymous', 'Bend it like Beckham'.

"As a child pink was my favourite colour. It's is now blue. Did I change it because of social pressure to fit in, because my taste changed or because it makes my eyes stand out. Pink is about questioning the things we do and like. It's been my approach to dealing with the overwhelming city after what was relatively quiet life in New Zealand; if you ignore the earthquakes and murder enquiries. I'll be sharing the most embarrassing stories about myself whilst singing songs from my idols and friends I've made over the last few years. It's all Hobbits, misplaced nudes and exe-bashing but it wouldn't be fun if it was about all the good things in my life, now would it?"

Rory's last show was 'I've Got Wellywood' In Wellington, NZ. In the last few years he has worked as a producer alongside many new musical writers and as a lyricist alongside 18 different composers and songwriters. He is currently working on a new family musical and an online series/stage show to be announced later this year. Rory was trained at NASDA (National Academy of Singing and Dramatic Art) in Christchurch NZ. His acting credits include The Hobbit films, Contract Killers and more.
