Ace trumpeter Quentin Collins brings his high-energy, soulful sound, packed with original tunes and compositions from the jazz masters. Quentin is backed by some of the most sought-after new generation of musicians on London jazz scene, each of whom deservedly leads their own bands: Ashley Henry (piano), Daniel Casimir (bass) and Shane Forbes (drums). The Quentin Collins Quartet is a must-see show, for anyone who loves the real thing when it comes to straight-ahead jazz at its finest. On the night, the Quartet will be joined by sax sensations Leo Richardson and Tom Harrison as special guests.

Quentin Collins

In 20 years as a professional, Quentin has established himself as one of the UK’s top jazz/commercial trumpeters, having performed, toured and recorded with a plethora of internationally renowned artists across many genres. These include Fred Wesley, Gregory Porter, Mark Ronson, Omar, Kyle Eastwood, Basement Jaxx, Roy Ayers, Alicia Keys, Dennis Rollins and Mulatu Astatke throughout the world. Quentin has a long list of albums under his name and as a side man with a number of the greats.

The Quentin Collins Quartet

Quentin hosts a regular late night residency at London’s prestigious Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club with his new band, The Quentin Collins Quartet. Given the immediate success of the musical offering, the band will be recording an album on the Ubuntu Music record label late this year and touring in 2018.

The Quentin Collins Quartet is where Quentin highlights his formidable, soulful and original compositions alongside his uncanny ability to interpret lesser played classic material from the jazz canon.
