They toured the globe and in 1985 he appeared with Spandau Ballet at Live Aid at Wembley Stadium.

On 25 March 2009, on board HMS Belfast in London, a return to the venue of one of their first gigs, Spandau Ballet announced their comeback tour. The band began a sold out world tour in October 2009.

After a headline set at Isle of Wight Festival, the group played their last UK show of the Reformation Tour on 25 June 2010.

The band came together again in 2014 to promote a documentary about themselves and 1980s culture more broadly, Soul Boys of the Western World, which premiered at the Royal Albert Hall.

The band then followed this with the release of “The Story – The Very Best of Spandau Ballet”, which also contained three new songs. The album reached the UK Top 10 and they completed another sold out world tour.

Besides his activities with Spandau Ballet, Steve is also a solo singer and songwriter. He's worked with numerous artists such as Tony Visconti. Marc Almond, Steve Harley, The Alarm, Glen Matlock, Kim Wilde, Martin Fry, Bruce Foxton and Glenn Gregory to name a few, as well as with former David Bowie musicians such as Earl Slick, Mike Garson, Gail Anne Dorsey and Woody Woodmansey.
