Last Show: Tuesday 10 th March 2020

PizzaExpress Jazz Club (Soho)

The Julian Costello Quartet is promoting a new album; Connections: Without Borders.  Connections we have to places through music and how music transcends borders. It was recorded in Oslo and features highly acclaimed International musicians. Music doesn't have boundaries and nor should it. Expect melodic tunes and musical conversations. Catch the Quartet as they embark on a UK tour supported by The Arts Council of England. There is an Open Soundcheck just before the concert. This is a chance to see us setting up, rehearsing, getting a sound and an opportunity to get involved. We build on this in the gig with Q and A's and some audience participation shaping the outcome of the music.

“Once in a while, an album like this appears on the horizon" Adrian Pallant, London Jazz News

"The musical and cultural polarity displayed by this International group from their diverse backgrounds is proof that open music can provide the perfect meeting place to create something unique" Iain Ballamy
