Zeñel is made up of London based trumpeter and producer Laurence Wilkins, Portuguese native Zoe Pascal on drums, and keyboard virtuosos Jay Verma and Alex Wilson sporting a seemingly infinite array of patches. They utilise a unique approach to midi and computer-based sound design to deliver a poetic combination of Jazz improvisation crossed with the world of electronic music, drawing from sounds seldom heard in live band contexts, inspired by the cultural heritage of electronic music, especially from the UK.

MADELEINE is a singer, songwriter and producer who found her musical feet in London at The BRIT School and Goldsmiths and is now being championed by the likes of Jazz FM and BBC Introducing as the UK’s next great voice of neo-soul.

An emerging player in the nu-jazz and UK soul scene, MADELEINE is a singer, songwriter and producer taking influence from the progressive electronics of Flying Lotus and Kiefer, whilst showcasing the tuneful sensibilities of songwriters Lianne La Havas and Stevie Wonder. With support from Jazz FM, BBC Introducing and WordPlay, she's also a celebrated session musician, touring the world as keyboardist for the likes of Arlo Parks, Poppy Ajudha and Kwaku Asante. The influences of her travels can be heard across her debut EP 'Colour Me, providing snapshots of the sonics of late night drives across the USA set against naturalistic imagery and soulful, jazz-tinged songwriting. Having grown up in a musical family, MADELEINE's influences are rooted in jazz, soul, and fusion genres. Training classically on piano and violin from the age of 7, she started her musical journey consuming an eclectic range of genres. Watching her mother performing as a jazz pianist from an early age encouraged her to pursue a career as an instrumentalist, as well as a vocalist. After studying at The BRIT School, MADELEINE went on to explore popular music at Goldsmiths University of London, where she began to explore a deeper songwriting narrative. Making a name for herself in the London Nu-Jazz Scene as a keys player, she began to expand her sound as a producer, and released her acclaimed debut EP 'Colour Me' in 2021. Since then, she has toured worldwide with Arlo Parks.

"An exceedingly polished singer who’s making waves in the UK’s nu-jazz and soul scene... MADELEINE’s music invokes the healing properties of nature, focussed on themes of self-love and embracing femininity" - The Line of Best Fit
