Zoe Francis and her great trio led by multi award-winning guitarist Jim Mullen take a fresh look at the repertoire of iconic American singer/pianist Blossom Dearie, who's unique vocal style and accompaniment personalised every song she sang. Blossom arrived in New York for the Birth of the Cool, where she recorded 6 albums on Verve label. In 1966 she recorded 'Blossom Time' live at Ronnie Scott's where she was a well-loved regular. The BBC was instrumental in Blossom developing a world wide following. Blossom collaborated with many great musicians and composers, Zoe will be performing a selection of songs from her new critically acclaimed Cd 'Remembering Blossom Dearie' including 'I'm Hip', 'Peel Me A Grape' and 'My Attorney Bernie'.
